The Historical Society will present a talk 7:30 pm Wednesday at the Senior Center on making and repairing stained glass.

To answer these and many more questions you might have, a talk about Glass in Architecture is going to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 7:30 pm at the Senior Center at Swampscott High School.

This evening is sponsored by the and presented by Ingrid Pichler and Michael Limberakis who have been working in the field of glass for over 20 years-each!

Ingrid lives and works in Swampscott and studied architectural stained glass in the UK.

Michael lives and works in Chelsea where he owns a successful glass studio.

They are combining their expertise and passion for the material in this informative talk.

“We would like to share our knowledge and love for glass in order to raise awareness of the possibilities that are available for preserving existing work and to be spokespersons for this ancient art and its application in the 21st century.”
