Grown Ups 2 Seeking J. Geils Band Lookalikes

Back in the day, in the late 70s and early 80s, The J. Geils Band was a whale of a group. Not just on New England rock radio and on New England record and tape players, but nationally.

The band was known for high-energy tunes and wailing harmonica.

The music will wail again in the movie Grown Ups 2, as the band performs at a wild party scene.

For those of you who still harbor rock 'n' roll dreams, here is a chance to play the ultimate air guitar — if only as a double.

The casting company, Sande Alessi, charged with filling extra, double and other positions is calling for people to double for five members of The J. Geils Band.

The performances take place over numerous days in the sound stage.

The stage includes a home, a yard and a 12-foot-deep pool, the setting for the wild party.

The entire cast is in the party.  

And maybe you.
