Habitual Traffic Offender Arrested for Operating on Suspended License

Monday, May 4
At 12:05 a.m., a past motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported. A wallet was reported stolen.
At 8:32 a.m., a staff member at Swampscott High School was reported to be off balance and have slurred speech. The call was sent to Lynn Fire.

At 10:56 a.m., past shoplifting from Whole Foods was reported.
At 11:01 a.m., a motor vehicle stop led to the arrest of Deanna Slate, 27, of Swampscott. Slate was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked for being a habitual traffic offender and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

At 4:46 p.m., a caller reported being threatened by a neighbor.
At 5:54 p.m., An arrest was made after the Swampscott police chief witnessed a vehicle cross a double yellow line repeatedly. Joseph Litwin, 34, of Swampscott was arrested following a motor vehicle stop. Litwin was charged with operating on a suspended license and a marked lanes violation.
