Lynn Man Arrested for Assaulting Officer, Other Charges

Wednesday, Feb. 4
At 8:16 a.m., a problem with the traffic lights at Essex Street and Mall Access Road was reported.
At 3:02 p.m., a loose bulldog was reported in the area of Essex Terrace.

At 8:03 p.m., a caller reported that parked vehicles would make it impossible for a fire truck to get through on Ingalls Terrace. The vehicles were moved.
At 8:16 p.m., a hit-and-run of a vehicle parked at CVS was reported.

Thursday, Feb. 5
At 3:40 a.m., the PD notified the DPW of a road condition issue.
At 4:44 a.m., the DPW reported a vehicle in a snowbank on the wrong side of the road. Police assisted the driver.
At 6:36 a.m., a caller reported a dog had been barking all night long. The owner brought the dog inside.
At 12:28 p.m., a vehicle was towed and the driver issued a citation after a motor vehicle stop revealed the the vehicle’s registration was listed as expired/non-renewable.
At 1:24 p.m., a scam phone call from someone claiming to be with the IRS was reported.
At 4:35 p.m., Mitchell Flynn, 30, of Lynn was arrested on charges of assault and battery of a family/household member; assault and battery on a police officer; resisting arrest; disorderly conduct; and threat to commit a crime.
At 5:17 p.m., a women reported a dog bite.
