Neighbor Hears Grandmother Threaten 'Another Slap in the Face'

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log.
Saturday, April 12
- At 12:21 a.m., police responded to two males who were in a neighbor's back yard on Eureka Ave. They fled toward Archer Street in Lynn
- At 9:13 a.m., a caller reported that construction was being conducted outside of the town's permits at the Red Rock Bistro
- At 1:48 p.m., police respond to an ongoing neighbor issue at Ryan Place
- At 2:31 p.m., a resident out of town reported that the neighbor called to report an unknown vehicle in their driveway
- At 6:03 p.m., A resident reported a water break in the roadway (Beach Ave).
- At 6:22 p.m., Salem residents reported that they lost a bull dog on the town line
- At 8:03 p.m., a resident within an apartment building on Doherty Circle overheard a child crying, who was being watched by a grandmother. Caller reported that the woman suggested "another slap in the face if she continued." DSS had been called in the past. Appeared OK.
- At 9:23 p.m., a resident visited the station reporting a violation of a restraining order, and had been receiving threats and intimidation
- At 10:20 p.m., police responded to a neighborhood problem on Summit View Drive, where a group of youths were conducting a "ring and run" and verbal harassment
- At 3:48 a.m., a caller reported a crashed MV near Fantasy Island Restaurant. The car's airbags were deployed.
- At 3:57 a.m., Salem police responded to a house on Essex Street and Steton Ave., arresting one and transporting another
