New Gateway Building a Delight

We hear so many complaints from people about projects around town; I wanted to take the opportunity to recognize the great work the owners, architects and builders have done with the new Gateway Building.

As a regular passer-by, it's been fascinating to watch the transformation of the property since the original building was destroyed by fire in March 2011. 

The new building is a beautifully designed and built space.  What a wonderfully welcoming entry to our picturesque seaside town. 

Check out that copper-topped cupola and weathervane! Now if only they'd add back a clock to the corner facade :)
