Road Rage and an Arrest

Monday, June 24

  • At 00:54 a.m., police dispersed a group of teens from Puritan Road near Eisman’s Beach. A caller reported the group was loud.
  • At 7:40 a.m., an injured bird was reported in front of Panera Bread at 433 Paradise Road. The town animal control officer was called to the scene.
  • At 1:04 p.m. police charged Jacob Miller, 29, 282 Puritan Road with violation of a restraining order.
  • At 2:53 p.m., a puppy was running down Paradise towards Burrill on a leash.
  • At 3:57 p.m., an Essex Street resident found a bicycle, a vertical BMX,  in her yard and took it to the police station.

Tuesday, June 25

  • At 8:51 a.m., police received a report of an open door at a vacant Hillside Avenue home where squatters were found earlier.
  • At 9:50 a.m., a moped accident was reported at the Vinnin Mobil.
  • At 12:02 p.m., a resident reported having an unsettling incident with the Stanley School principal.
  • At 12:42 p.m., 12 lawn lights were reported stolen from a Columbia Street yard.
  • At 5:56 p.m., a Puritan Road caller reported that she was on the phone with a man and his wife was attacking him.
  • At 6:13 p.m., a road rage incident was reported on Hanley Street.

  • At 8:34 a.m., a Columbia Street business owner said a 14-year-old girl walked into the business saying she was lost. The juvenile was transported to Grosvenor Park.
  • At 9:49 a.m., police received a report of a motor vehicle accident in front of the Post Office. A woman opened a door in front of a moving car.
  • At 3:17 p.m., a young woman reported a man sitting on a Redington Street porch in such a way as to expose himself.
