Salem Man Arrested, Charged with OUI Drugs

At 10:25 a.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred in which one driver involved was unable or unwilling to provide registration.

At 2:29 p.m., harassment via cell phone was reported.

At 2:59 p.m., a person called from St. John’s Church to report a suspicious man in a red vest was hanging around in the alley between the school and church and school was about to let out.

At 3:29 p.m., a shoplifter was reported at Whole Foods Market.

At 5:47 p.m., a large amount of smoke was reported to be coming from a backyard. It was found to be a contained fire pit fire.

At 6:11 p.m., Eric Snow, 22, of Salem was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating on a suspended license. Police log notes indicate that a witness attempted to stop Snow.
