Storm-Related Updates to Town Meetings, Operations
There remain some changes in Swampscott's daily life thanks to the blizzard.

By now you’ve likely at least cleared a path for your car and your mail carrier, but you’ve no doubt noticed that things are hardly back to normal.
The Town of Swampscott is also slowly recovering, but there are a few town operations and meetings that have been altered in response to the snow.
Here’s the latest, according to the Town of Swampscott website:

- The Town Building Reuse Forum scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28, was RESCHEDULED. It will now take place on Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. in the Swampscott High School cafeteria.
- The tree and yard waste collection scheduled for the week of Feb. 2-6 has been MOVED. It will now take place the final week of February (Feb. 23-27). Call the Department of Health with questions (781-596-8864).
- Regular trash removal for this week has been delayed by one day. Friday trash removal will occur on Saturday.
