Swampscott Holiday Festival Returns Saturday
The evening of holiday activities, candy cane hunt, Swampscott Police Association parade and town tree lighting begins at 5 p.m.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA —A night full of holiday fun is coming to Swampscott this Saturday.
After most events were canceled last year amid the coronavirus health crisis, the Swampscott Holiday Festival and Parade will return Saturday with events starting at 5 p.m.
Town Hall will be the site of a holiday marketplace, hot cocoa, cookies, a train ride, inflatables, music and the gingerbread house display from 5 to 8 p.m.

A flashlight candy cane hunt will take place at Linscott Park at 5:30 p.m.
The Swampscott Police Association Holiday Parade will return after a year hiatus from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The town tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m.
Those attending are then asked to consider grabbing a dinner at one of the Humphrey Street restaurants following the event.
