Swampscott Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log:
Friday, Feb. 21:
- At 7:35 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Puritan Road.
- At 2:08 p.m., police conducted a building check on Shepard Avenue.
- At 3:08 p.m., a Duke Street resident called police to report putting a stray dog in their yard. The local animal control officer was notified.
- At 4:02 p.m., police responded to a dispute at the Citgo on Paradise Road.
- At 5:45 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Paradise Road.
- At 10:20 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Barnstable Street.
Saturday, Feb. 22:
- At 7:23 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Bradlee Avenue.
- At 10:07 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Dory Way.
- At 1:49 p.m., police stopped a tractor trailer truck near the intersection of Paradise and Walker roads. Juan Maldonado, 38, of 55 Franklin St., Lynn, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
- At 4:45 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Paradise Road.
Sunday, Feb. 23:
- At 12:43 a.m., police responded to a report of an erratic operator on Paradise Road.
