Swampscott Man Charged With Restraining Order Violation

Wednesday, April 23:
- At 6:08 a.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle with its lights on parked on Columbia Street.
- At 10:18 a.m., a postal carrier called police to report an alarm sounding on Berkshire Street.
- At 10:46 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Laurel Road.
- At 11:19 a.m., police and fire units responded to a possible boiler malfunction on Magnolia Terrace.
- At 12:04 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Cherry Court.
- At 12:10 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Essex Street.
- At 1:00 p.m., police responded to a downed wire on Cedar Hill Terrace.
- At 1:34 p.m., the Salem Police Department called police to report that they were recovering a stolen vehicle on Colby Street.
- At 4:09 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Doherty Circle.
- At 4:12 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Humphrey Street.
- At 6:07 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Longwood Drive.
- At 7:43 p.m., a Mountwood Road resident called police to report a violation of a harassment prevention order.
- At 8:19 p.m., police made an arrest on Humphrey Street. Shaun Cave, 46, of 168 Humphrey St., Swampscott, was arrested on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
- At 8:49 p.m., police responded to a report of kids ringing doorbells on Cliff Road.
