The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log:
Wednesday, March 26:
- At 1:01 a.m., police responded to a possible carbon monoxide alarm on Paradise Road.
- At 2:48 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Priscilla Road.
- At 3:48 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Merrymount Drive.
- At 5:23 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Essex Street.
- At 8:34 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Franklin Avenue.
- At 9:10 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Redington Street.
- At 11:05 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Phillips Beach Avenue.
- At 12:11 p.m., police and fire units responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Priscilla Road.
- At 2:44 p.m., police were notified that a light fixture near the Ellis Road side of the Clarke Playground had fallen in the wind and there was a lot of broken glass in the area.
- At 4:58 p.m., a man called police to report finding a backpack in front of his house. The backpack was returned to its owner.
- At 5:54 p.m., a Crescent Street woman was served a restraining order in hand.
- At 7:28 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Phillips Beach Avenue.
- At 9:38 p.m., a resident on Forest Avenue called police to report a tree on fire due to downed power lines. The Fire Department was notified.
- At 10:09 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Paradise Road.
Thursday, March 27:
- At 1:59 a.m., police conducted a building check on Railroad Avenue.
- At 2:00 a.m., police conducted a building check on Burrill Street.
