Break-in Reported at C&L Liquors in Swampscott

Sunday, March 16:

  • At 1:45 a.m., police stopped a motorist on Burpee Road suspected of being involved in an earlier hit-and-run accident.
  • At 2:20 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Dennison Avenue.
  • At 8:15 a.m., police responded to a reported break-in at C&L Liquors on New Ocean Street. The owner was called to the scene and damage was reportedly boarded up.
  • At 8:35 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Franklin Avenue.
  • At 9:40 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Highland Street.
  • At 12:01 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity at Swampscott Middle School on Forest Avenue.
  • At 1:01 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Humphrey Street.
  • At 6:18 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Grant Road.
  • At 8:57 p.m., police conducted a building check at C&L Liquors on New Ocean Street.

Monday, March 17

  • At 2:57 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Franklin Avenue.
