Shoplifter Caught on Video at Swampscott Radio Shack

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log: 

Monday, May 5

  • At 10:06 a.m., police responded to a report of a National Grid plate coming off of a hole in the road on Paradise Road.
  • At 11:13 a.m., police responded to a past larceny at the Radio Shack on Paradise Road. A suspect was reportedly caught on video.
  • At 1:55 p.m., a person walking their dog near Overhill Road called police to report finding a woman in the woods who was making suicidal comments.
  • At 2:15 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Suffolk Avenue.
  • At 5:56 p.m., police conducted a well-being check near the intersection of Mountwood and Walker roads.
  • At 7:38 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Walker Road.
  • At 11:36 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Humphrey Street.

Tuesday, May 6:

  • At 2:22 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Paradise Road.
  • At 3:02 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Humphrey Street.
