Mailman Reports Loose Dogs on Prospect Avenue

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log: 


Tuesday, Feb. 4

  • At 8:30 a.m., police assisted an 84-year-old woman who fell on Paradise Road.
  • At 9:27 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Essex Street.
  • At 10:38 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Humphrey Street.
  • At 11:01 a.m., a resident called police to report a deceased cat on the sidewalk near the intersection of Humphrey Street and Shelton Road. A responding officer determined that it was just a rock.
  • At 12:27 p.m., a mailman called police to report two loose dogs running around near the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Sargent Road.
  • At 3:16 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Paradise Road.
  • At 3:52 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Summit View Drive.
  • At 4:37 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Paradise Road.
  • At 6:02 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Burrill Street.
  • At 6:06 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Humphrey Street and Monument Avenue.
  • At 9:00 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Salem Street and Stanley Road.
  • At 10:07 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Humphrey and Pleasant streets.
  • At 10:24 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Paradise Road.
  • At 10:57 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Farragut and Paradise roads.
