The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log: 

Thursday, April 17

  • At 1:25 a.m., police conducted a building check on Essex Street.
  • At 2:14 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Cedar Hill Terrace.
  • At 8:52 a.m., police responded to a report of a person cut with a saw at the Red Rock Bistro on Humphrey Street.
  • At 8:54 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Palmer Road.
  • At 11:57 a.m., a Priscilla Road resident called police to report that their house was egged overnight.
  • At 1:53 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Burrill Street.
  • At 1:57 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Rock Avenue. The owner was issued a criminal citation for allowing an unregistered motor vehicle on a public way.
  • At 4:14 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Orchard Terrace.
  • At 8:39 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Lewis Road.
  • At 9:59 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Essex Street.
  • At 10:40 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Pine Street.

Friday, April 18

  • At 1:46 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Littles Point Road.
  • At 2:32 a.m., police conducted a building check on Monument Avenue.
