Swampscott Ranks Among Top Suburbs in the State

In case you missed it, Swampscott is a pretty great place to live.

Swampscott is a Grade A suburb, a grade that carried it to No. 48 on Niche’s recent rankings of top suburbs in the state.

Niche, which evaluates schools and neighborhoods, said it based its rankings on several factors, including livability, local schools, safety, jobs, community, and housing.

Swampscott was ranked No. 48 in the state while Brookline came in at No. 1 in the state and at No. 1 in the rankings of “Best Suburbs in America.” Swampscott did not make the top 100 of the national list.
