Swampscott Resident Jim Pitts Hired as Assistant Project Manager at Group One Partners, Inc.

BOSTON— Swampscott resident Jim Pitts has been hired as an assistant project manager at Group One Partners, Inc. – one of the leading architectural, interior design, and purchasing firms in New England.

As an assistant project manager, Pitts’ job responsibilities include production documentation, consultant coordination, review and analysis of building and handicap codes, and construction administration. Prior to joining Group One, Pitts worked at the Design Partnership of Cambridge for more than 16 years.

Construction was also recently completed on two Marriott Residence Inns in Boston, which were designed by Group One. Residence Inn – Downtown/Seaport opened in June 2013 and Residence Inn – Fenway opened in July 2013.
