Swampscott Town Meeting Convenes Monday

Town Meeting representatives will meet Monday, May 4 to address articles listed in Swampscott’s 2015 Annual Town Meeting Warrant.

What:

• Among the articles voters will address is the town budget; establishing an overlay district along Humphrey Street “meant to encourage development in the historic downtown of Swampscott that enhances and encourages a mix of uses, protects historic and cultural resources, helps create a sense of place, and connects to the natural environment of the waterside”; and whether to appropriate funds for an artificial turf field at Philips Park.
