Target Of Drive-By Shooting By Clarke School Arrested: Police

Police recovered hundreds of pharmaceutical grade pills during a raid of the 37-year-old Swampscott man's apartment Friday morning.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Hundreds of pharmaceutical grade pills were found during a raid of a Swampscott man's apartment Friday morning. Joseph Graciale, 37 was arrested when state and local police executed a search warrant on his Stetson Ave. home.

Police said Graciale was the target of the drive-by shooting in September near the Clark School. That case is still under investigation.

Graciale's Stetson Ave. home was the subject of numerous complaints about drug activity, police said.

Graciale will be charged with possession with intent to distribute Class B and Class E drugs. Additional charges may follow, police said.

He will be arraigned at Lynn District Court Friday.
