At 9:32 p.m., an Aspen Road resident reported identity theft. She said she received a letter that was supposedly from Staples that said her credit card may have been comprised. The resident was asked for personal information. She is concerned that someone is trying to steal her identity.
At 9:54 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run accident on Essex Street. A green pickup truck with white lines on the side and orange lights on the roof allegedly struck another vehicle and left the area. One passenger may have been injured, but declined medical attention.
At 10:22 p.m., a Plymouth Avenue resident reported someone egged her house for the second consecutive night.

At 2:15 p.m., a Swampscott resident reported to police about “concerning texts” sent to her son.
At 5:55 p.m., police responded to Essex Street about youths in a green pickup truck doing spins and nearly striking other vehicles. The truck left before police arrived.
