VIDEO: Verizon Strikers Picket Humphrey Street Job

Four Verizon field technicians picketed a Verizon van near Thursday.

One of the picketers, union Steward Jason Caron, said the work at the site was being done by management.

Caron and the other workers said they are striking to hold on to their benefits package — holiday and medical benefits that the company wants to slice.

Caron said he has been surprised by the support that he and the other strikers have received from passersby. People  have been waving and honking their horns.
