Witness Says Pickup Truck Driver Backed into a Street Sign

Friday, Jan. 9
At 3:42 p.m., a scam phone call was reported with possible fraud.
At 5:22 p.m., a caller reported an injured fox in the area of Atlantic and Palmer avenues.

At 5:38 p.m., a witness called to report that a red pickup truck had backed into a DPW parking sign, knocking it over. The operator entered a nearby business. The operator was later stopped and said he only tapped the sign and didn’t cause any damage.

At 2:10 p.m., a party reported her boyfriend had gone missing while traveling abroad.
At 8:42 p.m., a person came into the police station to report a motor vehicle registration had been stolen.
At 10:21 p.m., a party came into the station to report a blocked driveway on Commonwealth.

At 12:33 a.m., police received a report of youth causing a disturbance on Burrill Street.
