1. 2 teens shot, third hurt in crashed vehicle hit by gunfire in Taunton (tauntongazette.com) — Taunton police are investigating a late-night shooting near Adams Street that left two teens with gunshot wounds and a third injured when their vehicle, apparently hit by gunfire, crashed into a fire hydrant. Nearby buildings were also struck, and one 16-year-old, wanted in connection with a prior Taunton shooting, was arrested after being taken to the hospital for treatment.

Investigators report multiple narcotics were seized, while her boyfriend and the package’s intended recipient remain wanted as the case returns to Taunton court Thursday.

Two Lakeville juveniles arrested for allegedly stealing a car, breaking into at least 9 others (bostonglobe.com) — Police say two Lakeville juveniles arrested after a string of car break-ins may also be tied to a hit-and-run crash in Taunton and other incidents in Raynham. The teens were caught after a chase ending in Fall River, and investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Lakeville detectives as more charges are considered.
