A Bristol County jury convicted 62-year-old Mark Nicholson, and he’s been sentenced to up to five years in prison for possession and distribution offenses. 
• Attleboro man sentenced to prison for possession of child pornography (bostonglobe.com) — Taunton Police played a key role in uncovering a major child pornography case that led to a prison sentence for an Attleboro man, after detectives traced illegal files through an online network. Investigators seized devices holding thousands of illicit images, while the defense maintains the man’s innocence and plans to appeal, arguing no one was directly tied to the keyboard.
