• Man pleads guilty to stabbing at Taunton auto body shop. What happened (tauntongazette.com) — A local man has been sentenced to four to six years in state prison after pleading guilty to stabbing another Taunton resident at K&M Auto Body on Cohannet Street in February. Prosecutors say the victim, who lived above the shop, was found injured at the Family Dollar on Tremont Street, and surveillance audio captured the assailant admitting to the stabbing.

Marketing major Morgan Smith, who boasts a strong GPA and winning singles record, helped the Bears to a 9-5 season and a deep run in the Little East Tournament.
