Brides Invade the Tewksbury Country Club

Country Club holds second bridal show of the year.

Tewksbury Country Club was buzzing with brides-to-be Wednesday evening, as vendors from around the region showed off their goods during their bridal show.

The Country Club holds two bridal shows a year, one in the winter and one in the beginning of fall.

Brenda Locke-Brown, director of functions at the Tewksbury Country Club, said the shows typically include vendors who are part of their own wedding packages, as well as vendors who they have worked with in the past. Wednesday's  show featured 22 vendors, including florists, bakeries, photographers, videographers, limo companies and dress designers.

"This is a really great way to meet with the brides and build a rapport, the brides remember me and feel comfortable," she said.

Other brides-to-be, like Natalie Cowell, have just recently been engaged and came to see the venue and start getting ideas about the perfect wedding.

From a chocolate fountain, decadent cakes, beautiful flowers an array fo food, entertainment, transportation and fun, the future brides and grooms got a glimpse of their wedding day.

"We are having a wonderful time,"said  Jennifer Severo, who was with her fiancé Jonathan Manolakis. "Great food, beautiful place, free stuff, this is blast."  The happy couple, also hosting their event at the Country Club, will be wed October 7, 2011.
