Dealer Busted After Fatal Tewksbury Overdose: Police
Police had launched an investigation following a fatal overdose in Tewksbury.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Police arrested an Everett man for dealing drugs in town after a recent fatal overdose of a Tewksbury resident, police said Friday. John A. Ruplis III, 35, was arrested Monday for possession with the intent to distribute a class b substance (buprenorphine).
Detectives were conducting "an investigation into drug distribution" after the recent fatal overdose of a Tewksbury resident. They arrested Ruplis after arranging a meeting to buy drugs, police said.
Police could not comment on whether Ruplis was involved in the fatal overdose as that matter is still under investigation.

Ruplis was arraigned Tuesday at Lowell District Court.
