Annual program at TSDI challenges all students and their families to create an "Act of Green". There is a lot that happens around the world that, today, we cannot control. We cannot stop earthquakes, cannot prevent droughts and we cannot prevent all conflicts; but we can do our individual parts to contribute to change. Plant flowers to attract butterflies and bees. Plant a tree. Deforestation contributes to species extinction, and is responsible for up to 15% of the global greenhouse emissions causing climate change. Planting trees is one of the easiest and most important ways to fight climate change. Pick up litter. Recycle. Conserve water. Grow a vegetable garden. Help end the obsession with plastic and protect the environment. Take the pledge to stop using disposable plastic. What is your "Act of Green" for this Earth Day 2017? All acts do add up. The simplest act and/or idea can make the biggest difference! :) - Shihan Deb and - Shihan Jeff
