Miller Is No Stranger To Public Service
I would like to take the opportunity to whole heatedly endorse Jayne Wellman- Miller for a seat on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen.
Jayne is no stranger to public service having served the citizens of Tewksbury on the School Committee and currently as Town Moderator. In both of these positions Jayne has demonstrated her knowledge of the issues and proven leadership qualities. Anyone who has attended a Town Meeting that Jayne has presided over can attest to her leadership skills.

Jayne’s experience as editor of the Town Crier newspaper, gives her a unique prospective of all issues facing Tewksbury both large and small. Her involvement with the Chamber of Commerce gives her a real understanding of problems businesses encounter on a daily basis. Her bubbly personality, passion for the Town and public service experience make Jayne an excellent candidate for Selectman.
Please join me in casting your vote for Jayne Wellman Miller for Selectmen on Saturday April 6, 2019.

State Sen. Barry Finegold Backs Todd Johnson
This election, I am proud to support my friend Todd Johnson in his campaign for selectman. As Tewksbury’s State Senator, Todd is and has been a true community partner to me and the rest of the legislative delegation. He is someone I can turn to when the state legislature needs to work with the town, and more importantly, he’s a reliable sounding board when making decisions that will affect Tewksbury residents.
Experience matters, and Todd has the experience we need to keep Tewksbury moving in the right direction. He has led the town through a recession and has a proven track record of fiscal responsibility and growth. His experience formally serving on the Finance Committee, as an attorney, and as an insurance professional give him a unique skill set that he’s used to represent Tewksbury well. Under his leadership, Tewksbury received its highest bond rating in town history, built a new high school, established a real stabilization fund, and began addressing retiree health care obligations, all while saving taxpayers money whenever possible.
Todd is someone we can trust to keep our interests at the heart of all the decisions he makes. He listens to the community he represents, and I know he will continue to do so as we take on the coming challenges together. Todd has a vision for the town of Tewksbury, one that will ensure the community continues on the right track and that we provide for future generations. As Tewksbury builds a new fire station and elementary school, further develops Route 38, and completes the regional emergency communication center, I know that Todd will be someone we can turn to, to answer our questions and take the lead on these major projects.
In addition to his professional achievements and the skills he brings to the Board, Todd is also a family man and a good friend. It’s rare to have professional success in a demanding field, give back to your community, and find time to keep your relationships strong, but Todd has done it all. I admire him for it and believe it’s yet another reason why he makes such a good leader for our community.
I hope you will consider reelecting Todd Johnson to the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen on April 6th.
State Sen. Barry Finegold (D-Andover)
Johnson Has Worked Tirelessly For Tewksbury
Dear Editor,
I have known Todd Johnson for a number of years. Personally, I know him best from his time as President of the Tewksbury Community Pantry, where his leadership ensured our ability to better serve our fellow townsfolk most in need.
Beyond that, as a taxpayer in our beloved town, I know him as a friend and neighbor who stepped-up to service during the worst months of our national recession. I know him as a Selectman who has worked tirelessly to turn Tewksbury’s financial difficulties around. Todd was instrumental in hiring our current Town Manager, whose budget work has quietly kept our collective heads above water and whose pragmatic approach to financial decisions is reflective of Selectman Johnson’s work to keep taxes low and economic growth steady.
In this community we all work together. In our search for a stronger future we all seek successful leadership. Todd Johnson is here to continue what he started. He is here to leave Tewksbury better than he found it. On April 6th, I am going to vote Johnson for Selectman. I implore my fellow citizens to do the same.
Mike Bello
Director, Tewksbury Community Pantry
