Fraud Prevention Talk w/BBB & Govt. Officials At Library On 12/10
Mass. Office Of Consumer Affairs & Better Business Bureau to make presentations.

TEWKSBURY, MA – The Tewksbury Public Library is hosting an important fraud prevention program this Tuesday, December 10, 2019, from noon to 1pm, with the Better Business Bureau and the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs.
Amy Schram, Community Relations Manager with the Better Business Bureau, will discuss how to best utilize all of the BBB's free programs and services to help make more educated and informed consumer decisions. She will provide information about BBB's Accreditation and Standards of Trust, plus discover tips on how to avoid falling victim to scammers.
Robin Putnam, Research and Special Projects Manager from the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, will also give a brief presentation on identity theft. She will offer tips on how to spot and avoid scams, and how to prevent identity theft.
