Hidden Camera Found In Lahey Hospital Staff Restroom

A Tewksbury man is accused of recording multiple employees in various states of undress.

BURLINGTON, MA — A 21-year-old Tewksbury man is accused capturing multiple people undressing via a hidden camera in an employee restroom at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent and Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said Thursday. Michael Mcdermott is charged with three counts of photographic an unsuspecting nude person and possession of a wiretap advice.

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center reported to Burlington Police on March 29 that a recording device had been found in a staff-only hospital restroom. A police investigation led to the arrest of Mcdermott.

Officials didn't say if Mcdermott worked at the hospital.
