New Career Born Out Of A Mom's Concern For Her Daughter

For longtime Tewksbury resident Kelly Wentworth, health and wellness have always been a way of life.

With a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology and a career background in the fitness field, it seemed almost inevitable that, even as she changed careers and raised her children, she would eventually end up back in the wellness field.

Ironically, it was at the health club where this mother of three eventually found the product and the career that was to become her passion. Approximately five years ago Wentworth was working out at a local gym when she began hearing some of the other moms discussing a product called Juice PLUS+.   

With a three-year-old who it seemed was destined to be sick all winter Wentworth was intrigued by the product that so many moms were crediting with their children’s improved health.

“The talk about Juice PLUS+ at the gym really caught my attention,” explained Wentworth.  “My daughter was always sick and, at the same time, an extremely picky eater so I wanted to know more."

It didn’t take long for Wentworth to make her decision and, almost immediately, her new career path was underway.

“I did some research and thought it was worth a shot,” Wentworth remembered. “I also wanted to offset my own costs so I signed up as representative almost immediately.”

It didn’t take long for Wentworth to realize that she had made a good decision.  “The first thing I noticed was that my daughter, Christina, wasn’t spending the whole winter sick. The Juice PLUS+ made a huge difference for her as well as the rest of my family,” said Wentworth. “My husband, Jim, travels quite a bit and suddenly he wasn’t getting sick after every flight.  Honestly, the Juice Plus paid for itself almost immediately when I stopped having to pay for visits to the doctor’s office.”

With some experience in her past as a sales representative, Wentworth was able to take her new found passion for the Juice PLUS+ product and turn it into a career quickly.  Eager to share her experiences with others, Wentworth began doing wellness presentations and health fairs.

“I had a number of people in mind that I wanted to get the product to immediately," said Wentworth. "In many ways the business began simply as wanting to share Juice PLUS+ with people that I knew.”

As a mom of three girls, Christina, age 8, Jenna, age 10 and Katelyn, age 15, Wentworth appreciates the fact that Juice PLUS+ allows her to set her own schedule as well as sales goals.

“It really is the perfect part time job,” Wentworth said.  “With no sales quotas the company is very supportive of what you as a representative want to do.  I can make my own hours and work as much or as little as I want to.”
