Children have the chance to get a head start of Halloween during the annual Krochmal Farms Pumpkin Festival.

This year's has been a huge success. The attendance has been outstanding, according to a farm spokesperson.

A great addition to the events was a handicap lift installed on one of the hay ride wagons. Some children got to experience a hay ride meeting Elmo, Arthur, Pooh Bear, Tigger, Dorothy and the Scarecrow, Mickey and Minnie for the first time in their lives.

There is a corn maze, pumpkin picking in the patch, face painting, pumpkin painting and even a petting zoo.
