Man Charged In Robbery Of Tewksbury Gas Station: Police
A man is facing charges that he threatened to shoot a clerk in a series of incidents at a gas station.
TEWKSBURY, MA — A man was charged with unarmed robbery on accusations that he broke into a delivery truck and threatened a gas station clerk, according to police.
Police were called to the Petroil gas station at 365 Main St. on Nov. 26 at 5:45 p.m. on a report of a man refusing to get out of a delivery truck that was not his.
Officers arrived and made contact with Arnaldo Gonzalez, 33, of Methuen, and determined he had entered the delivery truck while its driver was inside the gas station.

Police investigated and found that Gonzalez stole a couple of items at the gas station by threatening to shoot a clerk with a rifle. Police did not find any weapons.
There were no reported injuries. Gonzalez briefly resisted being taken into custody, according to police.

Gonzalez was charged with unarmed robbery, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and shoplifting.
He was scheduled for arraignment Monday in Lowell District Court.
