Marked Lanes Violation Leads to OUI Arrest

An officer stopped a driver near Applebee’s for a marked lanes violation on Saturday, April 13, at 12:57 a.m.
Brian R. Ashdown, 37, of 197 Wildwood Street Apt. 1, Wilmington, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

A resident told police on Saturday, April 13, at 1:58 p.m. that she ordered a dumpster for her home move and found it full this morning with someone else's gutted out bathroom.

On Friday, April 12, at 7:45 p.m. the hold up alarm from TD Bank on Main Street called in to police. All units were en route to the scene. Wilmington, Billerica and State Police assisted at the scene.
On Friday, April 12, at 6:08 p.m. a vehicle fire was called in on Nichols Street. Wilmington officers reported that they are on scene and that it was in their town.
On Saturday, April 13, at 1:34 p.m. a caller told police there was a young male collecting money for the Salvation Army in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. An officer arrived and spoke to the caller and the other person involved. The money was turned over to the resident who initially called police.
On Saturday, April 13, at 2:19 p.m. a 911 caller told dispatch that a woman fell outside the library, and possibly broke her arm. The woman was transported to a local hospital.
