• 2 Charged With Trafficking Fentanyl, Cocaine In Tewksbury, Police Say (patch.com) — Tewksbury police say two men were arrested after narcotics officers spotted a suspected drug deal on Main Street and stopped a Ford Fusion Tuesday evening. Officers reported seizing 97 grams of fentanyl, 31 grams of cocaine, and cash before charging the pair with trafficking; both were scheduled for arraignment in Lowell District Court.
   

• Tewksbury Town Meeting refers articles to Surveillance Technology Advisory Committee (lowellsun.com) — Tewksbury voters decided to send two proposed surveillance-technology bylaws, including rules for license plate readers, to a new advisory committee for more work before the 2027 Annual Town Meeting. Residents also approved extra funding for Shawsheen Tech after demanding financial reforms, and overwhelmingly rejected ending mailed Town Meeting warrant booklets, citing cost concerns but especially the impact on seniors and civic engagement.
