Returning Vote-By-Mail Ballots In Town Of Tewksbury

If you have already requested a ballot, please do not fill out a second application.

Every Massachusetts voter has the option of voting by mail this season due to coronavirus. The Secretary of State has mailed vote-by-mail applications to most registered voters in the state by now, but you can also download an application on the town website.

If you have already requested a ballot, please do not fill out a second application. We are working diligently in the Town Clerk’s Office to prepare over 7,500 ballots to be mailed out as quickly as possible. You can track your application and ballot here:

There are three ways to return voted ballots:

1. Drop ballots off in the DROP BOX - The drop-box is conveniently located at the Main Entrance to Town Hall (at the rear of the building). The address is 1009 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. The drop-box will be available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and will be monitored by a security camera. Town residents can drop ballots off until 8 PM on Election Day.

2. IN PERSON - at the Town Clerk’s Office - Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

3. BY MAIL - Early Ballots for the StateElection must be postmarked by November 3rd and received not later than 5 PM on November 6th to be counted.
