Save on Smokes Opens Shop at South and Main

Shop offers traditional smokeshop items, as well as merchandise for the less tobacco-inclined.

Save on Smokes opened recently on the corner of South and Main Streets in Tewksbury.

The smoke shop offers bulk tobacco and fine cigars, as well as more eclectic items like soy candles. Shop owners and operators Pete Wells and Don Devine come from a background in construction, but always wanted to run a retail establishment. They believe the location they've set up in is ideal, and hope that residents will stop by to see their original moose-themed store.

And as new business owners in Tewksbury, Don and Pete have already made a commitment to give something back to the community. Through the Holiday season, they will be gathering donations in the store for the Some of the money will come from straight donations but much of the money will come from the sale of Bruins and Patriots vehicle stickers.

The pair has already raised over $100 and will continue to raise money through the holidays.
