Alzheimer's Workshop Offered By Bayberry At Emerald Court

"Someone Stole my Diamond Bracelet" is part of National Alzheimer's Awareness Month.

As part of National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, is hosting a free workshop for families challenged with caring for a loved one with memory loss. “Someone Stole my Diamond Bracelet” will be held on Tuesday, Nov.29, 2011 at Bayberry at Emerald Court, located at 2000 Emerald Court in Tewksbury.

A complimentary dinner begins at 5:00 PM, with the program beginning at 5:30 PM.

The interactive and richly informative program is presented by Mal Allard, a Tewksbury-based Alzheimer’s specialist. Ms. Allard will explore “the real truth behind the sometimes seemingly ridiculous behavior, actions and words used by people with Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss.”

The program is one of many family-oriented programs Ms. Allard conducts throughout New England, yet “Someone Stole my Diamond Bracelet” is unique as it is based upon her personal experiences with her mother-in-law. Ms. Allard brings humor, compassion and
interaction to this program.
