Tewksbury to Honor Victims of September 11 with Candlelight Vigil Thursday night
Joan Mastropaolo from the 9/11 Tribute Center in New York to speak at annual service.

Thirteen years after the attacks on America, Tewksbury residents will gather for a candlelight vigil to remember all those who lost their lives, including residents Peter Gay and Peter Hashem.
Joan Mastropaolo, a board member of the 9/11 Tribute Center in New York will be in attendance and speaking at Thursday night’s memorial, according to the Tewksbury Town Crier. Larissa Gay, Peter Gay’s daughter, will also once again speak at the vigil.
In 2013 Tewksbury’s memorial was selected from those around the country and across the world to be part of an exhibit in the 9/11 Tribute Center in New York City. A piece of steel from the World Trade Center is part of the town’s memorial which honors the 93 Massachusetts residents who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.
