Tewksbury Police Accuse NH Robbery Suspect Of 2 Bank Robberies
Cops say Eric Mohan of Manchester robbed a Salem Five Bank twice; he's considered a suspect in open cases in Massachusetts, New Hampshire.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Police in Tewksbury believe a New Hampshire man arrested after a credit union robbery on the Seacoast on Monday may be the same man who hit two banks in town in March.
The Salem Five Bank on Main Street was robbed twice, on March 7 and March 30. During the robberies, the suspect demanded cash from tellers and, in one instance, claimed he had a gun, Chief Ryan Columbus of the Tewksbury Police Department said.
The department worked with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, and that investigation led to Mohan as a suspect, he said. On Monday, Mohan was arrested in Hampton, NH, while walking out of the Service Federal Credit Union on Lafayette Road.

"The valuable information obtained from the second robbery that occurred at the Salem Five Bank helped lead us to this arrest and gather information pertaining to several other bank robberies in the area," Columbus said. "I'd like to commend the efforts of the Tewksbury Police officers involved in the investigation and all of the other agencies, including the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, that helped us solve these cases."
