After consulting with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, the juvenile is being charged with: threats causing a disruption of a school, threats to commit a crime and conspiracy, Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan said in a statement released early Friday afternoon.
On Thursday Tewksbury Police received information Thursday morning from a New Hampshire Police Department about a potential school threat that put Tewksbury High School in lockdown earlier in the day, after students in two communities were involved in an online suicide pact that included discussion of a possible school shooting.

Sheehan said his department received information from the Manchester N.H. Police Department just after 9 a.m. Thursday morning that a female Tewksbury High School student posted a comment on Facebook indicating that she wanted to “get two guns” and “make a suicide pact.” The information was provided to Manchester N.H. PD by a concerned citizen who saw the message on Facebook.
Police say a female Winthrop student responded to the “suicide pact” comment on Facebook stating, “can we shoot up schools first tho.” The Tewksbury female responded by stating, “YO lets do it.” No specific school was mentioned.
