AR-15 With Grenade Launcher Among Guns Seized In Tewksbury Arrest

TEWKSBURY, MA -- A man and a woman from Texas are facing multiple firearms charges after calling Tewksbury Police to their hotel room investigate a possible break-in on Saturday. Francho S. Bradley, 59, and Adrianne D. Jennings, 40, both of Frisco, TX, were charged with 8 counts of possession of a large capacity firearm, 19 counts of possession of a large capacity feeding device, 3 counts of possession of a silencer, 8 counts of improper storage of a large capacity firearm, improper storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a license, possession of a bump stock, and 3 counts of possession of an infernal machine.

Bradley and Jennings pleaded not guilty on Monday morning in Lowell District Court. They are being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.

In a statement, Tewksbury Police said Bradley called them to the Marriott Residence Inn on Andover Street to report a suspected break-in. Bradley said he was not at the hotel but a video surveillance camera he had installed on the room to the door had cut out. he told police he was worried because there was a firearm in the room.

Police went to the hotel room. While investigating, police noticed several large-capacity firearms and ammunition in the room, including several long guns wrapped in a flight suit. After arresting Bradley and Jennings, police obtained a search warrant for their car, where they found more weapons, ammunition, large capacity feeding devices, and infernal machines.

The cache of weapons included an AK-47, an AR-15 with a grenade launcher, a large capacity shotgun, a bump stock and numerous rounds of ammunition, police said. Bradley reportedly told police he worked for a "secret government agency."

The investigation includes the Massachusetts State Police, FBI, ATF, and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. Police have not determined why the couple was in Tewksbury or why they had so many weapons. Tewksbury Police said they do not believe there is any threat to public safety. Because the investigation is ongoing, they are not releasing further details at this time.
