Massachusetts Food Truck Owner Struggling With Increased Fuel Costs: "I'm Just Taking It On The Chin Right Now"

Millions of Americans are paying record prices at the pump this Labor Day, with higher fuel costs putting pressure on drivers, businesses and consumers alike.

"On average, Americans are paying the highest prices at the pump that we've ever seen for this time of year," AAA Northeast spokesperson Mark Schieldrop said.

The U.S. average price for a gallon of regular gas was $4.15 on Labor Day, nearly a dollar higher than Labor Day weekend last year, according to AAA. Diesel prices also set a record, hitting a national average of $5.90 a gallon.
