Does the Election have you stressed out? Visit the library's back lawn and spend a few minutes de-stressing with adorable mini therapy horses from Strongwater Farm. Learn how to interact with, care for, and bond with these amazing creatures. Plus, discover how you can volunteer and support this Tewksbury-based therapeutic equestrian center. Don't forget your phone/camera! No registration required. Drop in anytime during the 90 minutes.

Join us on the first Monday monthly to discuss either a science themed book or a science fiction book. This month we will read and discuss Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. Books are available at the front desk one month prior to the discussion.

Chris Connolly, RN, BSN, owner of "Living My Dream Yoga," will lead a 5-week series of meditation classes. Classes will take place from 3:30pm to 4:30pm over three consecutive Thursdays – November 7, 14 and 21 -- in the library's Meeting Room. Classes are designed for both those who are new to meditation and regular practitioners. This series is sponsored by Winchester Hospital to support safe events for the LGBTQIA+ Community. These classes are open to all.
IN PERSON: Pints + Pages Book Group For 20’s & 30’s (*RR)

Join this social book group geared towards readers in their 20’s and 30’s. The group meets on the first Thursday of every other month. The book discussion will be hosted by librarians from the Wilmington and Tewksbury Public Libraries. Meeting location rotates between Wilmington and Tewksbury. This month’s book is The September House by Carissa Orlando. The meeting location is Tremezzo Ristorante in Wilmington.

Tewksbury native Kara Zajac will discuss her new award-winning book, The Significance of Curly Hair: A Loving Memoir of Life and Loss. The book tells the poignant story about the bond between Kara and her grandmother. This heartwarming and enlightening memoir reminds us to cherish our time with loved ones. In addition to sharing the powerful story of her grandmother with the general public, Kara -- a graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School (Class of 1991) -- also looks forward to connecting with former classmates, friends and acquaintances from her childhood.

Participants are welcome to find a quiet, comfortable space to relax and join mindfulness teacher Lauren Masse. Learn how to practice daily mindfulness and calm your mind and body. Lauren Masse is dedicated and committed to supporting others in their mental and physical wellness journeys. She studied Psychology and Public Health at UMass Amherst, and has a Master’s of Public Health from Boston University. Masse, a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, is the owner of Bright Heart Emotional Intelligence Coaching.
VIRTUAL: The Orphan Train Movement -- History, Genealogy & Legacy (*RR)

Orphan Trains, which operated in the United States between 1854 and 1929, transported 200,000+ children from New York to the Midwest and beyond. Through oral history and genealogy research – with ongoing, diligent care of the unique records – over two million descendants live on to tell the stories of this uniquely American movement. Learn about the history, genealogy, and legacy of this movement. Led by Michael Brophy, a nationally known, professional genealogical researcher, heir search specialist, and lecturer from the Boston area. He has served as Program Director and Publicity Director for the Massachusetts Genealogical Council. Brophy was also the first Treasurer of the New England of Association of Professional Genealogists. He was featured on the Irish TV series Dead Money, a genealogy TV show about heir searchers. In 2010, Mr. Brophy was hired to conduct research for the NBC television program "Who Do You Think You Are?", on an episode dedicated to the family history of actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Led by Virginia (Gigi) Morris, who has been studying and writing about end-of-life decision making for more than 25 years. Morris is the author of How To Care For Aging Parents, widely considered to be "the Caregivers’ Bible." She has appeared on Oprah, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The CBS Morning Show, Primetime, ABC World News with Diane Sawyer, Katie, NRP, CNN, and a host of other national media, and has testified before Congress on eldercare issues.

Join Miss Emily for stories, songs, movement, instruments, dancing and more, and get your early literacy skills on! Toddler Story Time is designed for little ones from 2-5 years old. All of our story times are interactive for children and their caregivers. Please be ready to participate and play. (Don't worry, we will have a printout with all of the songs and rhymes we are using so you can follow along!)
IN PERSON: PJ Story Time

Have early literacy fun with stories and movement at this evening story time. Pajamas are optional but encouraged. PJ Story time is designed with children ages 2-5 years old in mind.

Preschool playgroup is a weekly group where kids can meet, play, and learn. Pick up some literacy skills and have some fun while you're at it! This program is hosted by Community Teamwork
