Tewksbury Reports 14 Confirmed, 5 Probable Coronavirus Cases
The town's caseload is back in double digits, according to the latest report, Tuesday.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's coronavirus caseload is back in the double digits, according to the latest data released by the town, Tuesday. Fourteen residents have confirmed active cases and another five have probable active cases.
All 19 current cases are community cases, whereas nearly half of the town's over 700 total cases have been at Tewksbury State Hospital, Blaire House and other facilities with communal living.
Since the virus arrived in Massachusetts in March, 76 residents have died and 552 have recovered. The outcome for 56 is unknown, bringing the cumulative total to 703.

In the town's Sept. 1 update, there were just seven confirmed and probable cases, including four remaining cases at the State Hospital.
