Tewksbury Republicans Endorse Prinzivalli For State Rep
Pina Prinzivalli is facing Erin Buckley in September's Republican primary for the 19th Middlesex District seat in the state house.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Tewksbury Republican Town Committee endorsed Pina Prinzivalli, the 34-year-old, first-time candidate for office, in the crowded race for state representative for Tewksbury and Wilmington. Prinzivalli will face Erin Buckley, also of Tewksbury, in the GOP primary on September 4. There are also five democrats and an independent candidate in the race.
"I’m very grateful to receive the official endorsement from the Tewksbury RTC," Prinzivalli said in a press release. "This endorsement shows that I’m the best candidate to deliver when it comes to putting the taxpayers first, prioritizing local aid so we get a better return on our tax dollars, opposing Sanctuary Cities and becoming a Sanctuary State, protecting our Constitutional rights, and taking care of our seniors and veterans."

Prinzivalli announced her plans to run in October, making her the only candidate out of eight that entered the race before incumbent James Miceli of Wilmington died in April. Miceli had planned to run for reelection and the days following his death were filled with speculation on who would jump into the race, as well as efforts by candidates to get nomination papers signed before a looming deadline.
"Pina has shown us exactly the kind of Representative she will be," Ruth Chou, chairman of the Tewksbury RTC, said in a press release. "Pina will be someone who isn't afraid of standing up for what is right. She won’t be afraid to take action and she will be a bold voice on Beacon Hill. That’s the kind of representation we need. We’re proud to endorse her candidacy to become the next State Representative of the 19th Middlesex District."
