Tewksbury Special Town Meeting Scheduled For Oct. 6
Town officials are planning to have a "very small" meeting, Town Manager Richard Montuori said.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury will have a special town meeting Oct. 6, town officials determined. The Board of Selectmen approved Town Manager Richard Montuori's request to schedule the meeting at their July 15 meeting.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at Tewksbury Memorial High School.
Tewksbury held its annual town meeting in June, more than a month after initially planned.

The warrant for the special meeting is open until Aug. 14 at 4:30 p.m. Residents can submit articles with 100 or more resident signatures.
The selectmen briefly discussed whether the town's typical special town meeting is too early in the fall. Montuori agreed, saying it doesn't give the town a lot of time to prepare, but said it would not be a major issue this fall.

"I think this town meeting we're going to keep very small," Montuori said.
