UPDATED: Winter Weather on Its Way, Snowfall Now Expected to Be 1-3 Inches

The first storm of the season will include everything from snow to sleet and freezing rain. Here's Tewksbury's hourly forecast.

By now you know Tewksbury is expected to see its first accumulating snowfall tonight through Tuesday with a storm that’s expected to bring snow, sleet and freezing rain to the area.

Snow is expected to start around midnight Tuesday with between 1 to 3 inches of snow now likely for Wilmington. The bulk of the snow will fall late Monday night. Snow will transition Tuesday morning to sleet and then freezing rain and eventually just rain by Tuesday afternoon. While most locations will see a trace to a tenth inch of ice, the higher terrain could see up to one quarter inch of icing, according to Massachusetts Emergency Management Officials.

Wilmington is under an updated Winter Weather Advisory from 10 p.m. Monday night to 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
