Our annual shearing day! Our beautiful alpacas have been growing their luxurious fleece for a year and now it is time to shear it all off! It is the only day we clean our alpacas and get their fiber ready for processing into beautiful and useful clothing and garments. Come see the process, play with the alpacas on the farm.
Note that our property is hilly. The area for shearing is relatively flat but sloped and may not be accessible for all visitors. Please no dogs at this event. Shearing is usually 9-11:30 and tours continue until 3pm.
Light refreshments provided. Parking is around the corner at the Willard House and Clock Museum which is also open for tours or you can bring a picnic and sit on their beautiful lawn.
